Not Good. I went here for lunch because they seemed to have some decent reviews. I don’t know where they got those reviews, because for me this was pretty bad. I ordered the three item combo thinking I’d get a good sample of what they had to offer. It came in the typical ubiquitous Styrofoam container and everything was just piled together in a heap. I ordered orange chicken, pepper chicken, and Mongolian beef, which came with lo mein, but there was no way to tell which was which with the exception of the lo mein. Everything I got was the same texture and color and was all covered in some type of bland gravy/sauce, same sauce for everything. The noodles used in the lo mein were the cheap, super fat spaghetti noodles you get in a school cafeteria. Not good. Maybe they were having an off day, and they seemed to be nice people but I won’t be returning.
Good place for Chinese. So I just moved up here looking for my new number 1 Chinese place. Now I have only gotten around to 3 of them and out of those 3, this is my number one. However, I know there are better out there. The food is well prepared, tastes like it should, and is of good quality. They also deliver here in Layton. My only ding is the Low Mein. Not up to the standard I think it should be. It was a little bland. But all in all, it was fine. Nothing wrong quality wise. I will say the owner was very nice, although her English is not great, she has a very exuberant personality and is just awesome in my book. I have eaten in and had delivery and it was great on both occasions. The Mongolian and Jalapeno chicken was great. The Hot & Sour soup was not that bad either. If you have never eaten here or new to the area, this is a good place to start for good Chinese.
Wonderful Food. I have ordered from this place at least half a dozen times since I moved to Layton a several months ago. I am new to Utah entirely and needed to find a new Chinese place. This place did NOT disappoint. I love everything that I have tried. My husband and I will only eat Chinese take out from them. My only issue, though it may seem tiny, is the ordering process. I understand that English is not their first language, but when I have to repeat everything I say about five times, it gets frustrating. They either need to allow online ordering or have someone that speaks English as a first language take the orders that come in.
Really good Chinese. Broccoli beef very fresh. Had to go back after only one week.
Chinese Kitchen Rules. They deliver which is very awesome on its own, but to deliver food that is amazingly delicious makes it a gem of layton. The mogolian beef is a must have as well as their Potsticker appetizer. I love the staff very friendly and fast.
Absolutely fantastic chinese food! They make everything fresh and hot and it is great quality and flavor in large portions. I am very picky about my chinese food and hate overbattered and tough meat and theirs was juicy and crispy and not doughy at all. I was very impressed, it will definitely be a favorite now.
Great food Awesome Value. Great food at a good price= great value ! I love the food and they have actually custom tailored the food to my palate !I always get take out but they make me feel like I am family and I wouldn’t mind eating in. The atomsphere is down to earth, but I go there for the food. My favorite is hot laepeno chicken and black pepper beef, but their hot and sour soup is a great balance of flavors and is delicious. The food is always prepared just right and never over cooked. They have opened early and stayed late just for me ! They are awesome.
