Love this place! It’s not much to look at but is my favorite place to get Mongolian Beef. And their lo-mein is so good I usually order an extra side of it. I also enjoy the owners banter.We usually order the General Tso, Sezchuan chicken, and Mongolian Beef in the dinner for 4 combo which feeds three guys with leftovers for the next day.
Superb Food and Low Prices. Best value anywhere.. I was looking for a Chinese restaurant near Hill Air Force Base, in Layton Utah and found this on the internet, so decided to give it a try. Although it is a small unpretentious place (both a sit-down and take out) the food is unbelievably excellent. The signs state that no MSG is added and that is true as I am allergic to MSG. Almost all dishes are less than $10 and some as low as $5. The food is fresh. Even the red pork is cooked hourly unlike other restaurants. They do serve in Styrofoam dishes so anyone looking for a fancy restaurant will be disappointed, and there are no exotic foods on the menu. But if you value simple but excellent Chinese food at a low price, the Chinese Kitchen provides the best value anywhere. In addition, the owner and his wife, gave good recommendations for those who are not sure what to order. I highly recommend this for anyone who values food over atmosphere. In fact it was so good that our family ended up dining here at least once each day for 5 out of 9 days that we were at Hill AFB, (except Sunday when they are closed)
