Late Lunch. Just arrived from the DC area and staying at Home2Home Suites. Stopped in to check this place out…I was Absolutely Pleased. Lunch and Service was Wonderful. Will visit again.
I ate here prior in the week with one other person and the food was very good. Unfortunately not consistent for group settings. I brought a group of 10 here for a business dinner and found that their portins were inconsistent with the previous visit. Additionally their portions were dramatically different. One 7 oz filet was almost twice as big as another 7 oz filet, the same thing with thier wedge salads. I wouldnt go again with a big group but No doubt good food even if the portion sizes differed.

I was in Layton for a conference and decided to try Corbin’s because of its great reviews. I went to dinner early around 5, which apparently was a little early for the host because he had his back turned to the door texting on his phone. I had to ask him if they were open but my server saved him from disrupting his texting to show me to my seat. I opted on the booth seat. The ambiance is quite romantic with the waterfall window and dimmed lighting. I already had an idea of what I wanted. I ordered the lemon asparagus salmon with rice pilaf and a Caesar salad. The salad was the typical Caesar which is served with a tangy loaf of bread that I didn’t care for. The salad was also OK. But the entree was amazing. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the asparagus left me wanting more. Oh and did I mention how awesome the server was? He was very knowledgeable of the menu and charismatic. Overall a good experience.
Excellent service all during our lunch time, Food was excellent very flavory. Reno- waitress was great! I would let any one know Corbin’s Grille is a great place.
First time and wont be the last!. Never been here before. First time and I LOVED IT. Look forward to coming back. Great food and service, thank you.
