Worst Thai food ever eaten. Tried panang, beef salad, Thai fried rice, cashew chicken, spring rolls, and chicken curry on skewers as carry out in Layton Utah’s restaurant. Worst experience ever! Threw most away. Bland, tasteless, gross, and every other negative word available for horrible food. Excellent customer service over the phone tho. Save money and go else where!!!!!
High Price for Average to Poor Food. I followed the majority of reviews and ordered take out from Pad Thai, I was very disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. I was recently in DC and had wonderful Thai food, I was excited to have a good Thai restaurant in Layton. I do not mind paying for great food, but this food did not make the grade! We could not tell the difference between the pork and chicken pad thai, the cried tiger was tough and tasteless, the white rice was even prepared poorly. Needless to say we will be looking elsewhere for our next Thai meal.
High Prices and poor Value. Bad tasting Thai food.. Food was overly sweet, with too much NumPa (Fish Sauce). Each egg roll cost $4 each. Two egg rolls, one order of Pad Thai and a drink cost almost $40. My wife who is an expert Thai cook stated that their food is nothing like they serve in Thailand and I agree. In fact those who eat Thai food here for the first time, will get turned off on all Thai Food. Avoid this place as their are much better Thai Restaurants elsewhere
Awesome. I am a big fan of thai food. I have traveled a lot and always look for great food and this place is always outstanding! Better than any thai food I have found on the west coast. A true gem.
Large Servings; Good Thai. Showed up Monday night and it was real quite- just one table of people. Service was alright, portion of Drunken Noodles was large and full of veggies and other ingredients- more so than average. So that was good. Price is a little high- Apps are around $8-9, soup is $10, and noodle dishes were $10 as well. But at least the portions aren’t small.
Loved it 🙂
Local Thai food, Pad Thai Restaurant. Pad Thai is a family owned restaurant. When I don’t feel like cooking at home or I am at work and the girls in the office have a craving this is where we go. It is authentic Thai cuisine and I have enjoyed my visits there for sure. It is slightly tucked away from all the major chain resteraunts in Layton, I love the Sum-Tum! I had asked for it spicy…and yes it came spicy! Let’s just say my mouth was lit up! This was the desired effect thought don’t get me wrong, just know if you want spicy, then spicy you will get! This is a restaurant I listed in my Recipe and Food Blog. It’s a keeper.
