The Little Diner That Could. First time at Sill’s and was not disappointed. It is very crowded and busy and it is seat yourself! Got in an argument with one patron who was just standing there looking stupid with an empty table nearby. Went to sit down and he came uncorked. Told him he better wake up because its snooze and you lose. Anyway, we sat down at the counter and had a fantastic omelet and the wife had chicken fried steak with awesome scones. We will be going back.
Love the scones. I’ve eaten here twice, and have had a great experience both times. Really good scones. The wait staff is great,The only con, is the building itself. They need a bigger dining room (its crowded,) and it seems like all the tables and chairs are wobbly.
I’ve been Super Sized!. If you have never felt like a child trying to finish an adult meal come to Sill’s for breakfast where the plate is hidden by the pancake, scone, it’s incredible! I like the food, not love but like, I do not like their pepper gravy way way way too much pepper for me at least and they really need to stop watering down the syrup or buy a better brand I don’t know which but it actually ruins the taste of the pancakes -I have told my waitress so- Now that I have got that out of the way do give it a try and keep in mind they are locally popular so it may be packed on your visit. bon appetit.
Ok place, not great. We hate how they don’t seat people. I don’t like staring at people, waiting for them to get up from the table so we can grab a seat before someone else does. And while we are eating, we feel rushed to eat while people are staring at us, waiting for us to leave. The food isn’t that great either so it’s not worth the headache of bad service.
Their service SUCKS. Additiude towards a customer is so bad. We wanted a booth ad our party was 5 minutes away and they refused to seat us. They said our party had to be there and then they would find a booth if they had one. Crappy service
Really good food, especially the scones. Service is very slow and they are always busy every time we go.
