Fail! This is the second time I’ve been to Cubbies and this last visit topped my list as worst thing I’ve ever eaten. Seriously, it was that bad. I took one bite and spit it out–it was awful.I ordered the sandwich with sausage and chopped beef. Sounds great, right? When I ordered this the server said they might be out of sausage and went to check. When I received the sandwich it smelled bad. I don’t know if the sausage was actually spoiled, but it looked and tasted like they decided to cook it in the microwave. It was grey and looked disgusting. And what’s worse is it tainted the beef, which also tasted spoiled–and underseasoned.I must say that the jardineira that hadn’t been tainted by the meet tasted great. I’m just amazed that any restaurant would serve such a total piece of garbage. I might be able to get a decent burger there, but why waste my time with a company that is willing to serve such crap?

Wow- very surprised at the ratings. I work across the street and have been to this Cubby’s 10+ times. I’ve loved it every time. The most wrong I have experienced was that my bun was slightly drier than normal.I get the Houdini almost every time.. It’s hard to stray from one of the best burgers I’ve had. Wonderful tasting beef, thick bacon, mushrooms, Gouda, arugula, and garlic aioli sauce… Yum.The Houdini doesn’t get the same attention as the other meals, but it is the best in my opinion.I’ve had the Dragon Slayer, Pikey, and other items. None are a 10/10 like the Houdini.To top the whole experience off – I also crave the buffalo bleu cheese fries. The bleu cheese is packed with flavor but not overbearing. It matches well with the buffalo sauce. Use a fork because it gets messy good.
Foodisgood. I have been here twice and both times was impressed. Sweet potato fries are my favorite and Cubby’s has the best. Tri-tip salad is great. Dressing is a bit bitter but fits with the meat. The steak is extremely tender which shocked me being that Cubby’s is a less expensive restaurant choice. Apple chicken salad is also fabulous. Dressing compliments the ingredients perfectly. My kids ordered hot dogs which were great but the mac and cheese fell a little flat. All in all great food and I will be back.
Bad operation. From the bad signage directing you where to go to curt mumbling workers to bad customer flow to my beet and goat cheese salad that showed up without… beets. Not worth the trouble or the frustrating experience.

Same great food!. Got take out from Cubby’s at their new Lehi location for my work team meeting. I live in Provo and am an avid Cubby’s eater and absolutely love it and wanted to share my enthusiasm with my co-workers. A lot of the issues experienced there I will attribute to the fact that they JUST opened. Issues like not getting a receipt, confusion where to stand in line or wait for a to-go order, having new menu items but not posting such online, asking for sauces and getting an unneeded explanation, and so on. I hope that all works itself out because as a customer it just made it difficult to relax in such a beautiful new building. I also think everyone is trying to transition and get in the flow of it all. Keep in mind, they were able to get my to-go order out on time so really, that’s already better than a lot of other places I’ve been to.As for the important stuff, the food was spot on. Really was. Co-workers were impressed and excited to visit again. I am glad they are expanding because they’re doing it right. Still continuing to get the tri-tip steak sandwich and buffalo bleu cheese fries. It’s delicious and I’d be willing to put up with the kinks in service here and there so long as I get to keep eating here.
