Love it!. Ok, I’ll have to agree that the salsa isn’t the best I’ve had (they do have a mild version) and depending on the server, you experience can be slanted one way or the other but my wife and I have always get the chicken chimi platter and smother it with a side of chile verde which is addicting. We love it and go all the time! I was shocked to see so many negative reviews considering the way we feel about it.. and we consider ourselves picky eaters.
Great Enchiladas. Good service, good food. We love the enchiladas and the tacos. Don’t care for the burritos. Chips are good but the salsa is a bit too hot for us-wish they had a milder choice.
Bland, not worth the coupon!. Although they have reasonable pricing, their food is not any good. Flavorless cubed carnitas inside the enchilada. They use some kind of poor cheese substitute, and their Mexican rice was dry and appears orange in color devoid of any flavor. Their refried pintos was unremarkable.Other than stopping for take-out chips and salsa, don’t sit down in here.
Don’t waste your time or your money at La Fuentes. Over priced and under flavored. The menu is confusing and combination selections are minimal. Don’t even think about substituting items, cuz it’ll cost you. Just like a bowl of chips will cost you. The salsa tasted like spicy marinara sauce. If you want a tasty, reasonably priced dinner ….. Go to Mi Ranchito in Orem.
Waste of time!!. Took the family in to try it out and we were so disappointed we walked out which we never do! The waiter took my drink Oder and my husband was asking out their drinks when the waiter just walked away and went to another table. The kids menu said kids drinks were $0.99. The waiter told us no their were $2.00. the price was so over the top we just decided to leave! If you want a great Mexican restaurant try la cocina in slc!!!
Great and friendly service. We got a lot of food for the price but the menu lacked classic mexican items like Carne Asada. We got the combination plates and it tasted more like tex mex to me. I also was not happy with the salsa served, it was more like spicy ketchup. Another issue was the dirty restroom that reeked. Also the restroom door stuck and it took me several minutes to get out.
Dont waste your time or money. Another lighweight restaurant, what you pay for is the decor and all the employees shuffling around, rather than solid flavorful dishes. Pureed salsa of some sort in a plastic squeeze bottle, no cilantro in the place, bland food. Utahns are easily duped into thinking if the decor is nice and the menu fancy, the food must be good. Big mistake.I gave the place a chance, even though my instincts told me what was coming.after being in there only a couple minutes. A total disappointment, but not unexpected.To heck with enticing decor. Save your money and go to someplace like Betos and get authentic flavorful dishes for half the price, instead of over-priced, americanized trash.
