I had the Hawaiian chicken teri bowl. It wasn’t anything great. The island style mac salad was bland, nothing like the islands. I am from Hawaii where food is excellent. You can not attach your restaurant name to Hawaii if you do not know how to cook it right. On the other hand… the Shrimp Tempura was awesome and the sauce was perfect.
Just a jumble of warmed ingredients. I was left shaking my head after this visit.I got the noodle bowl with shrimp and jerk sauce. It tasted like a simple jumble of low-grade ingredients I could have made in ten minutes at home (if i felt like eating badly). It was just refreshed noodles, with heated frozen veggie mix, a few mushy shrimp (that tasted veeeery under-cooked to me) and a nasty sauce that was no better than what i could get from a bottle.I dunno, I hear their burgers and fish tacos are good, but the noodle bowl was so weak I can’t imagine I’d come back.
