  We went for the hibachi dinners after my daughter’s graduation. We had quite a wait before the waitress came to get our orders. We saw others seated and orders taken before us. Finally, when the chefs came, we had a fun time and the food was good. However, were really surprised when the check came at how high it was. Turns out that when you order the hibachi dinner and they ask you if you want rice or noodles, be prepare to pay extra because it isn’t included in the price of the meals. We had told our family to choose items under $20, but didn’t realize that there was an extra $3 tagged on to the price for those. Therefore, the bill was $30 higher for the group than we had budgeted for. It felt a little under-handed that we weren’t told upfront that it wasn’t included in the meals. There was also an 18.9% gratuity added, not 17%. My husband has vowed not to return. Later, when talking with a friend about it, they said they had ordered all-you-can-eat sushi. They got one roll each and the waitress NEVER returned to give them more. They waited, tried to get help, and finally left without paying, which they had never done before and never thought they would ever do. But they were soooo angry at the service that they felt justified.

  First and LAST time eating here. Our server gave herself a $25 tip! We were a party of 4 and we barely even saw her during our almost 2 hour wait! The guy cooking our food at the grill was nice. The place wasnt very busy but it took over half an hour for our server to even acknowledge us or get us drinks. A large group of teens came in towards the end of our meal and our server basically rushed us out of the place. Very disappointed in the service and the food!!

  I love the food here. It’s a Sunday afternoon (Mother’s Day), we had a reservation for 1:30 and it is now 2:20 and we just barely got our drinks. I read the recent reviews and couldn’t believe all the negativity, thought people must be exaggerating. Sadly the reviews were right. It has never been a fast restaurant but today has reached new levels of awful. We have four little kids with us, have been here an hour and have just barely ordered. Can’t wait for the mandatory 18% gratuity that will be added to our bill. I don’t mind waiting usually, but I hate staying here out of principle. Patronizing such a terribly run establishment but here I am. Do not make my mistake! Very, very disappointed.
