Absolute worst. My sister and I have come here before and thought it was pretty good, until tonight. We came to the Lehi location for dinner and the entire plane was empty. Should have left right then. We weren’t taken to a table, we pretty much had to choose our own and then the menus were brought to us. While I was struggling to get a high chair flipped over to put my babies car seat on, the waitress just watched, instead of offering to help. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and needless to say, none of them were good! The Vegas Toll, which is deep fried, was soggy and completely tasteless. The Rock Star Roll was hardly mediocre and the Citrus Roll was truly inedible. It tasted like the fish was rotten. We didn’t eat that roll and my sister kindly asked our waitress if they could that the roll back because it was so awful. She told us that there was nothing she could do about it because we had already ordered it. She brought our check and I asked her if she would even discount it, which I think is ridiculous that we even had to pay for it. She said she could only discount the one roll because her manager wasn’t there to do anything else. So we paid for 2 hardly mediocre rolls and still had to pay for a disgusting roll that sat on our plate the entire dinner. I will never go back to Tokyo and don’t recommend anyone to go there. Unless you want to waste your time and money and have some of the worst sushi you’ve ever tasted.

Badass Roll lives up to its name. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants all across the country and Tokyo was a surprisingly pleasant experience. I’d never heard of it but took a chance and walked away a fan. Their food presentation is beautiful and specifically the Badass Roll rocked my world. Try it, you won’t be sorry.
Really Good Sushi. I feel bad for the groupon misfortune of the other reviews because it clearly detracted from the quality of their food. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had in Utah and the fish was very fresh and flavorful.
Unbelievable. Also bought a Groupon that they refused to honor. Sushi is pricey…had to pay full price. Completely dishonest. Will absolutely never go there again.
Awful, Dishonest Restaurant. I cannot even express how completely unimpressed I was with this place. My husband and I found a groupon and made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. They should have just said when we called that they don’t take reservations…because they definitely didn’t honor it. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and we sat and waited for a long time as tons of other people without reservations were seated before us. Then right before we were seated, we asked about how we should use our groupon. They told us that they weren’t taking groupons on Valentine’s day even though we had already purchased it. (Definitely not allowed according to groupon btw.) That was not mentioned on the groupon or anywhere on the website. (Speaking of their website, their online menu prices are completely outdated. If you go there, expect about $5 more than it says online.) We ended up just leaving before we even started dinner…I will never give any of my money to these dishonest people.
We love this place. John and Richie are very good cooks and are always friendly. This is our favorite family place.
