Absolutely the worst service, and the food wasn’t great either.. We ate the Island Park location. No host, tables not cleared and dining parties waiting and waiting… That was just a start. We and another table did not get utensils and napkins with our orders until we requested. At first we only received napkins on the second request utensils were just dropped on the corner of our table. The bus boy was cleaning tables and serving chips and salsa??? The food just didn’t taste good and the chips were very greasy. The customer service was down right the worst I have ever experienced, uncaring, unfriendly.. Don’t eat at the Island Park location unless you want to be frustrated and unsatisfied.
The food was good but the service was terrible. They spilled salsa all over my husband and only comped 10% of his meal for it, which was almost more of a kick in the face.
Be careful!. Once I ate at Cafe’ Sabor and six months later when I didn’t even live near Logan, I noticed they charged my debit card for something. When I called they said they had forgotten to charge it before (six months earlier???), but could not say when exactly that was. I called the bank and they reversed the charge because Cafe’ Sabor couldn’t prove there had been a charge. The next time I ate there, they double charged my friend’s debit card. Two out of two times…I won’t go there again. If you eat there, watch your bank statement.
We ate here for the first time this evening. Everything has an off flavor. I had the black bean soup it was okay nothing great. Also tried one fish taco which was good but the shrimp taco was not edible way too spicy and I love hot food but couldn’t get this one down. My husband had a pork and a chicken street taco he liked his. Overall this is definitely not authentic Mexican food more American Mexican if you are looking for real Mexican go to La Tormento 1/3 the price and 100 times the flavor
The first time I went, I was with friends and only tried the chips and salsa (Which was awesome!!) Now I’ve been 4-5 times (and have ordered real food) and hope to go again soon! And you’ve GOT to get the fried ice cream! I always share with my husband because it’s a bit too big, but oh so yummy!
I enjoyed a chicken chimichanga here today. So good and very flavorful. Great food and service today.
One of our faves. My family goes there quite often. Monday is family night so kids eat free. Our favorite is the shredded beef Burrito Supreme. I realize it may not me totally authentic, but we still love it. Fantastic location, love the historic train station.
