Great food review. I come here for the burgers, but on this occasion I got the turkey focaccia. It was awesome! I highly recommend it. Just try it. You won’t be disappointed. And service was fantastic as always.29 Apr, 2013Very Impressed. My wife and I went here one saturday afternoon after living in Logan for 3 years and always driving by. Despite all the bad reviews, we really liked it! We don’t care much for decor or atmosphere. We loved the burgers, we both had bacon and bleu cheese. We loved that we were in charge of the drinks, they had a great selection with flavors. The fries were delicious and the fry sauce was right on the table! (it was great too). So if you like decent burgers at a fair price and don’t want to pay a tip, wait for a server to bring you sauces and drinks, come try it. We really liked it.
We used to love this place but haven’t been back since they changed to a sit down restaurant. So weird.
Food lacks flavor. It had been a few years, so I’ve revisited Center Street Grill a few times recently. First off, their burgers lack seriously on flavor. I’ve never had a burger with egg and bacon on it taste so bland as it did here. Their burger with mushrooms wasn’t any better. Their patties seem to have no seasoning whatsoever. Buns are processed and tasteless. I asked for my egg cooked over easy, only to find it grilled hard as can be and dripping with oil. The onion rings here are also too oily and soggy. Fries not fresh and unimpressive. As for the service, why do they have servers waiting tables here? They didn’t used to. Their soda dispenser is still in the dining area, the entire place is still set up as self serve. We still had to get our own refills. So how about loosing the useless servers.I probably won’t be back.01 Jun, 2011Pretty good greasy spoon. Flavors aren’t outstanding here, but it never disappoints. The place can get busy and the cooks are very slow, so expect a wait. Busing tables can get backed up as well and it could be cleaner. But overall, it’s a not a bad place for greasy spoon.
Sensuous Sandwich of the Centuries. Two Words. Turkey Focaccia. But Really Best Ever, I am now a Center street Grillian who is at a loss for words. Just get the sandwich Folks you’ll know What I’m sayin.
Going down hill fast. They keep changing there menu, and now they have turn it into a sit down restaurant. They were slow before now they are very slow and the people taking your orders seem to run around like a chicken with no heads. If you don’t want to wait 45 min for your food stay away from here.
We ordered a lot of dishes. Here are our verdicts: Would you order again? Inferno–yes Southwestern–yes Cordon bleu–no, fine but not great Green lean burrito–no. Very soggy Green lean burrito–really liked it. Chili burger–yes. Turkey focaccia–yes. Great!
Always good food, but plan on waiting for it.
