The best thing at firehouse is their margherita pizza. It’s different than anywhere else I’ve had it, and it is the best. No sauce, instead, the most delicious marinated roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & basil leaves. That being said, it totally depends on who made your pizza, because sometimes it’s super skimpy on the toppings and is disappointing. The side salads are great, topped with olives, tomatoes and cheese. Focaccia is also very good. The roasted chicken sandwich is very good, and is great to save 1/2 of for the next day.

Good, basic pizza place — Ratatouille pizza was great. We had a very nice experience at Firehouse! The service was quite good. We were seated almost immediately (table for two at 5:30pm helps, but still) and the waiter was casually friendly, appropriate for the type of restaurant. They were out of the first two beers my husband ordered, but the waiter was at least apologetic. That sort of thing happens. NBD. We ordered the Ratatouille pizza, which was very tasty. Nothing mind-blowingly creative about it, but it hit the spot and I would order it again without a second thought. When we said this was our first time eating there, they gave use a free small desert, the cookie-with-ice-cream thing. It was also very tasty. Bill came to about $35, which was pretty good given we both got beers and we took home half a pizza. BTW, Firehouse is a different sort of restaurant than Jack’s, I wouldn’t really compare them. Firehouse is more casual and sporty, while Jack’s is a little classier and ambitious. Both have their place.

Slow service. 15 minutes to order and over 30 minutes to not get food. There were only a few people there. The staff we’re a bunch of teenagers who acted like they didn’t want to be there. We paid for our coffee and went across the street to Subway. The food looked good but service was horrible.
