I like this place! It makes it faster if you order ahead though, the wait is a bit long otherwise
I only had pizza here, so I can’t speak to any of the other dishes. But the pizza was TERRIBLE. They have these huge nice pizza ovens in the back, but don’t be fooled: they are NOT for baking your pizza. Your pizza gets thrown onto a premade crust and put through a Quiznos-type toaster until the cheese has melted over whatever unfortunate toppings you’ve ordered. The pizza reminds me of the pizza I’d get at Chuck E Cheese as a kid, and now I know why none of the adults ever ate with us. Never ever again. I highly prefer Little Ceasar’s crappy $5 pizza, because at least you’re only out 5 bucks for bad pizza in that scenario.
Steak and Everything!. I had the Steak and Everything sandwich at Papa Kelsey’s today. Oh man, was that tasty. I split it today–next time I get my own :)02 Nov, 2011FREE birthday deal!. If you go to Papa Kelsey’s & Henry on your birthday, they will treat you to a Taco Salad–a $5.59 value.
Simple, boring, ultimately skippable. I’ve tried more than a few dishes here over the years and never once found anything with much flavor. Skip it.
Go for a sandwich, the bread is awesome. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza sub. Everything tastes homemade and delicious. Great chili too.
