Good tasty food.. Very nice meal, went on 12/27 for lunch and it was busy. Very tasty food with good portions, dining space was a little tight but staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
Went there on a Thursday night, there were only 3 tables full, but no where to sit because all the tables were dirty. My husband asked the girl at the counter to wipe off a table for us, she said she would after we ordered. I had the Philly cheese steak pita, my husband had the spicy pita, my kids had rice bowls w/chicken. After we ordered, the girl came out and sprayed cleaner all over, even the people sitting next to us, they had to wipe there arms after she sprayed them. The food took forever! I think the college boys in the kitchen were too busy talking to themselves to work. My pita was a grease ball. The rice bowls were a rice, about 3 pieces of chicken & 10 pounds of parsley!
Wonderful food! I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked. Be sure to try the spicy chicken pita!
I love salad! And then mad pita ruined it for me! It had such a large amount of this dressing that tastes so so disgusting that I will likely have nightmares for weeks. Their kebabs were good but you will keel over with heartburn, I guarantee it. Their rice is good too but the pita bread is just heavenly. I recommend grabbing some of that and rice and you’re good.
3 different ways to serve the same thing. We were in St George and saw the ad for Mad Pita and ended up visiting there two times. Each time I got the same thing but it was very differentI got the sample appetizer and the first time they forgot the peppers and beets. there was not enough Pita bread. Next time I complained and they made sure the items were there but sadly it was then too waterly from peppers and the red beet juice was all over the place. The haystack was terrible — old and drygreat ice tea
Great food. Mad pita has some of the best salads in St George. I’ve had a lot of stuff on their menu and have never been disappointed. It may not be the best gyro meat ever but their chicken options are good and they don’t use low quality chicken like a lot of restaurants.
Parsley Fairy Gone Mad!. I love Mad Pitas Gyros and their Fire Chicken but since nobody has said it I will be the one to say it. Are you ready? Wait for it……. Who is the overzealous PARSLEY Fairy who dumps (because I cannot in good conscience call it sprinkling) the massive, no, gargantuan amount of parsley on my perfectly good gyro?
