Cake Bites – 5 out of 5; Cupcakes Are Good. I always go to the store just after a major holiday and see if there are any cake bites on sale. (There usually are 4 or 5 little plastic clamshells full of the beauties.) I strongly recommend the salted caramel bites and the red velvet bites. I’m not as big of a fan of the cupcakes, but they follow the rule of having very sweet icing and mildly sweet cupcake to go with it. It makes for a better flavor pairing.*Hint: The free flyer from Dixie Direct has been doing a coupon deal on the cupcakes for a long time. The Dixie Direct card itself has good deals as well.

Gross and poor service. I had high expectations since they have been on cupcake wars. The price was fine because I thought the cupcake was going to be amazing. Well it wasn’t… it was dry and the frosting was disgusting. I have been twice now because I thought the first time may have just been a fluke and because the girl that helped us back in January was fantastic. Well I tried it again this last week and tried a different cupcake but it was still disgusting and this time there was a different girl that helped and the service was terrible. She totally seemed annoyed that we were even there and seemed to want to rush us along. This store looks cute but don’t be fooled into buying sweets here. Go buy a box mix instead because not only will it be cheaper but it will taste sooo much better.
Good. I had gotten some treats here before and reviewed that it was ok. I’m editing because I feel was I was too harsh. They were good treats and the cake bites are magnificent! I’m sure my husband and I will venture into this establishment sometime to see what else they offer but it still isn’t really a priority.
I do love their cupcakes. The only thing that makes me sad is that they are always out of cupcakes!
