Obviously we did not experience this place the same as other people. Our food was barely, okay. While Germany is NOT renowned for its cuisine, I guess I expected more. Now, having said that, Germany IS known for it beer, so perhaps we shouldn’t have chosen this place, since we aren’t beer drinkers and it is a brewery.
I have been twice in a month because the food and beer are so good. I went with some friends and because it was so good I had to bring my husband. German/European food plus a brewery. My husband said the meatloaf is the best he has ever had. I would recommend this to everyone.
We dined there last Friday evening. The place was packed. We were told to wait at the bar until a table was available. When we were told the table was available, the table was already taken by another party. So, we had to stand around for a while until another table was available. Minor complaint though. After we sat at our table, the service was very friendly and fast. The cocktails I ordered were a tad watered down. The food we ordered was fantastic. We ordered the garlic fries (huge portion) and potato pancake appetizers. We also ordered the Grilled Pork Tenderloin and the Halibut Filet. The Halibut Filet with the horseradish and Parmesan crust was my favorite dish but it all tasted delicious and the portions were sufficient. I’m dying to try their brunch and I’d go back there anytime.
Hadn’t been here for a year or so because despite delicious food, the service used to be god awful slow. Tonight was an expected but delightful surprise. Levi was our awesome server, super attentive despite being seated outside, and timed food arrivals (including helping us time our additional to go order) so they would arrive nicely spaced out. Not sure if it was the server, new management, better run kitchen or what but Bohemian will definitely be added back into the regular rotation with the new better service to match their delicious food
Food mediocre , service was HORRIBLE.. Also being a server, I understand being busy.. but really ? 20 min to get my cup of coffee and having to hunt down our server for him to run our card.. ? not impressed
My husband and I definitely love this place. I am GF and they have a separate menu of options for me. The garlic burger was strong but amazing and my husband has loved the German food he has gotten. They had great mixed drinks which there were very helpful at suggestions for and my husband loved the variety of choice of beer. They had sample size to try them all and a Growler to take home!
Having visited the Czech Republic, I sought out some Bohemian cuisine closer to home. This place doesn’t disappoint and keeps me coming back. I haven’t tried anything bad here. The food is very fresh and well-seasoned. My kids will even eat the veggies.The Bohemian cuisine is mixed with typical, but tasty American pub food. The garlic fries are particularly good.
