If anyone in the Salt Lake Valley ever has the inclination to go to the restaurant called Ganesh Indian Cuisine in Midvale, DON’T!!!!!!!!!They are WAY overpriced, and the food is terrible, as well as the service. My mother and i went for their lunch buffet, and pretty much everything was gone, and they wouldn’t refill it. The food was cold. We asked for no ice in our drinks repeatedly, and he kept putting the ice in anyway. The owner went to clear some of the plates on the table, and he knocked over my 3/4 full mango juice, and instead of immediately cleaning it up, he let it sit there for about 4 minutes before asking if we’d like him to clean it up, which he then proceeded to do with a DRY napkin. He moved us, and when we requested a certain table, he said no, and sat us somewhere else. He then let me go 10 more minutes without a drink, at which point, Mom had to say something. He brought it, and charged us for that one too, even though HE spilled it.THEN, he brought out some sort of dish that looked like chicken innards that smelled (and tasted) like feet. He asked if I would like some, and I very politely told him no thank you, but he piled 4 giant spoonfuls of it right onto my curry, and probably would have put more, had I not told him that I’m pregnant and can’t eat too much. He kept trying to take our plates while we were still eating, as well. There was only one other table that had anyone at it in the whole restaurant, and they left about 10 minutes after we got there, so he wasn’t busy. He just lacked people skills.AWFUL experience! When you go for a buffet, and you pay a high end buffet price, you expect the buffet to be fully stocked. When we walked in, there were 2 pans of cold, crusty rice, a round of Na’an bread, and some cold curry sauce. He offered to let us choose ONE of the dishes that was SUPPOSED to be on the buffet, and he would make it, and even then, it was at least half an hour before we got anything that we had asked for, and it was cold. The buffet should have gone another hour after we had arrived, so there is no excuse to not have FRESH HOT food at the buffet. He charged us the whole buffet price, but we did not get the full buffet experience.
