Best Mexican food in Utah. It’s a little on the pricy side, but 100% worth it. I also highly suggest getting a Death Star to drink. You won’t regret it!
Stay Home!. The food was horrible and double over priced, our waitress almost non-existent, music was way too loud, and the entrance smelled like an ashtray. Stay home, you’ll be happier. (Did I mention the food was horrible?)
Spicy Pork. The spicy pork is great! I’ve been coming here for years and rarely have a bad experience. It seems to be a place built on return customers.
Not bad, but not great. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good. The service was okay, but not great. I got the Chihuahua plate with a cheese enchilada, chili relleno and chili verde burrito. It was pretty good, but not fantastic. I don’t think I would go back as I like La Puenta better, but it’s worth a try.
This restaurant has a strong, longtime local following. I like the chile relleno and enchiladas. Their salsa is unique with celery in it. Ask for their spicy salsa in addition to the regular salsa.
Don’t Waste Your Money. We did not have a good experience at El Chihuahua. The customer service was horrible. The lady we paid with who seemed like the owner was really rude to my husband and I. The food was way overpriced and not that good. If your looking for good mexican food El Chihuahua is not the place to go. YUCK
Bad Service but good food!. Wow I was shocked by the service. When I have ordered to go I noticed the waitress was giving me quite a bit of attitude. I didn’t tip her. When I asked for plastic utinsils to go she said they didn’t have any left. I also asked for a water to go and she denied me. I asked to speak to the owner and the utencils magically appeared. I also have dined in. They have tiny water cups and I actually had to keep filling my water cup with the pitcher of water across the table from me. The waitress never once filled my water cup. Worst service I have ever had in a restaurant and I have been to many!
