Restaurant Morelia is a wonderful family owned Mexican food Restaurant. Many of the recipes have been handed down including the chili verde. The salsa is made fresh each morning with fresh ingredients. (I asked the waitress) This is a great place to bring your family for a quick meal that won’t break the bank. Don’t be intimidated if there is a line, things move very quickly. As a side note, this is a local business run by a local family the owner is a good man who gives jobs to local people and young people. You do more than eat good food at this restaurant, you support local people and jobs.

Im speechless on this one. Why is the rating so high? Very bland poor quality food.
Waste of money. This place is just terrible. So plain and the food is just American tasting. I could feed the chili Verde to my baby. No flavor and no spice. The salsa is flavorless and water down. If your from anywhere else but Utah, don’t waste your money
The Best!. From reading the reviews listed here it would seem that there might be two Restaurant Morelias. I guess you can’t please everyone all the time. For me, I would go to Morelias every night if my wife would allow me to. She put the limit at once a week and I went once a week for as long as we lived in Utah. We have now moved to Florida and not having Morelias here is horrible! Everytime we go back to Utah Morelias is on the agenda.
Try it you will like it.. This is one of my favorite places to eat in SLC. Have moved from SLC but each time we visit we make it a point to go to dinner at Morelia. Combo plate with Chilie Verde Burrito, Cheese Enchalada and Tacos is my favorite. Service is good with great salsa. Would be very surprised if you did not enjoy this place.
