The food is good, however servers are hideously unfriendly and rude. Especially the dark haired middle aged lady. We live up the street and just like to do take out so we don’t have to deal with their employees, but today they just don’t feel up to the task of answering the phone. Yay.

Always good food. We have been to Janet’s several times and the food and service have always been good. It would be nice if they had a little bit bigger place for more tables.

Awesome Place. Food here = Awesome!Service here = Awesome!Beverage prices= Not so greatPros: Great food. Their #1 breakfast (bacon or sausage, eggs, and toast) is basic but yet my favorite They serve a big portion of it and it’s not ‘extreme’ greasy like a lot of places that serve breakfast. Eggs are always cooked through and through and taste amazing : )Cons: Watch out for the price they charge you for beverages. Canned soda’s are $1.50 Sodas, Coffees are $2.00 Milk and Juices are $2.75 ……That adds up on your bill real fast. Sunshine Cafe is a great place to eat. The servers that work there know how to be down to earth with the customers, but yet fast and professional at the same time. It’s easy to see the cooks from the dining area and they are always working hard and showing camaraderie in the kitchen. That’s hard to find these days. I would recommend this place.

Do you think Denny’s or Dee’s tastes good? Well you have never eaten here!. This fabulous but secluded mom n’ pop shop is a place you want to go when you are hungry! We had a fabulous experience when we visited here! After being greeted by a professional server, we sat down to eat. We looked at all of the cute retro signs that include coca-cola and 7-up. We ordered chocolate chip, pecan and blueberry pancakes and 2 pancakes with 2 eggs and bacon. The waiter was exceptional and very professional. After our food slid down our table we munched down! The pancakes were the BEST I have ever had. They were buttery, fluffy, and obviously cooked with TLC. The eggs were thoroughly cooked and were very delicious. The bacon…..well it was the most crunchy delectable on the table. They were absolutely perfect! This restaurant is a tight squeeze but the food is definitely to die for!

This place had the worst customer service! We walk in and there were 3 cranky women working who didnt say a word to us. I have a baby and never once was I offered a high chair. When someone finally came to our table we asked for straws for our water and the waitress threw them on our table then walked away. My mom asked for a refill on her coffee and the waitress was annoyed she asked for more then poured it in her cup and all over the table. Did she say sorry or wipe it up? Of course not! Did anyone ever ask us if we needed anything? Of course not. I had French toast and I didn’t get syrup so I ask for some and you would have thought I asked this lady to give me all her money. Don’t bother going to this place unless you want a budget breakfast with a side of grumpy!

Yummy!. Their whole wheat granola pancakes are the best pancakes I’ve ever had!! I went there twice in a week to get them, they were so delicious! The service on the weekend was odd–servers were eating at the counter with us, and I felt like I was bothering them when I had to keep asking them to fill our waters. However, the food is dynamite.

Like home. Small place so tables are at a premium. Cute atmosphere, with old time signs on the walls, and cute sayings. Also have a shelf with magazines to read and games for kids to play. The saying today was something like, I feel Super Lazy today. That is lazy with a cape! Silly, but made me smile.I was able to see the cooks behind the counter which was interesting. Not hectic, they seemed to be enjoying themselves and cooking and doing what needs to be done.We arrived at 10:45am for breakfast. Perfect time…too late for breakfast crowd and too early for lunch crowd. We had our choice of seating.Waitress very efficient and business like.I ordered a 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy with eggs & hash browns. 1/2 order so 1 biscuit and 1 egg, but not half the price. Still plenty to eat and I like the option of smaller portions. Also ordered a single pancake.Eggs over easy cooked perfectly and delicious. Hash browns were crispy and good. Nothing special.Biscuit & gravy was good. Very peppery so there was a bite to it. They add something to the gravy that makes it taste different than just a white sauce. Very good.Pancake was plate sized and good. Again, nothing special but good & fluffy. I like that they served warmed syrup with it.Overall, nothing outstanding, but all good. We will return.
