There is enough arrogance from Chef Hai that sours his delicious food. I won’t go there anymore. It’s terribly unfortunate. I would wish only wealth to Chef Hai’s suffering and hard-working wife and children who slave away because he’s too cheap to hire proper help… My heart breaks for his family who bends to their narcissistic head-of-household who is totally unwilling to listen to anyone and lacks grace and humility. This restaurant could be something wonderful and lucrative! Chef Hai needs a serious kick in the ass from Gordon Ramsay to learn how to run a proper business that shares and grows. Until then, the restaurant is very slowly plugging along and too many people won’t have the chance to partake in the Chef’s amazing dishes because he’s selfish and the biggest jerk that you’ll ever meet!!!Try it out. The food is good. But it’s like subjecting yourself to Simon Cowel’s criticism. I warned you!

Great food yes!, But great service? Sometimes.. I will start off by prefacing that is is one of our favorite restaurants. We go there most date nights and really enjoy the food. If you have never been to a restaurant that has no menu, then this is a must try. Here is how the process works. 1. Walk in and wait to be seated. It may take a little bit, but you will be helped. 2. Drinks are on the side of the bar up front. If you want one go get it. 3. Order your food. Chef Hai will come around and ask you what you feel like. You can either give him a ethnicity you prefer or the meat choice. He will most likely tell you what he has in stock and what he does not. Tell him about allergies and all that. 4. Enjoy your meal. Yeah so it isn’t fast food and doesn’t come out in 30 seconds or less. Enjoy the company of your date or friends. 5. Pay for your dinning experience. I can say that even though there is no set menu, Chef Hai is fair with prices. He’s not trying to gouge you, he is just trying to make a living. It is based off what you order. Don’t expect to get prime rib for nothing. Not gonna happen. Now, let’s talk about the service. I have read the complaints and can understand how people feel that way. I don’t have that problem and like him quite well. He is from New York, and does have an attitude. It is his restaurant, and if he doesn’t feel like making something, then who cares? There are plenty of choices there if he refuses to make something. Just know going in that he can come off a little abrasive. Aren’t we all in our own ways a little different? Will I keep going back?…Yes! Will I tell my oversensitive friends to go…Not likely!, and that is not because of the food.

I actually haven’t eaten at this restaurant but I called to have takeout. I have had many friends tell me to try pho and my husband and I saw that they serve it. The owner who I spoke to was extremely rude going on and on about how he won’t sell pho to anyone who hasn’t tried it before. He got heated and raised his voice to me and I told him that he had been rude and that I wouldn’t be eating there ever. My husband called to see if he could order and the owner told him that if my husband came in he would kick his F’ing ass. Really professional.

The owner is rude and ignorant. I have called in twice for take out and he is mean and disrespectful. He never gives you a time or price and just hangs up on you after bantering about what you want. I was nice about it and even adapted to the specific menu he had and he was so rude I’m not even going to pick up the food. Not good customer service at all and makes you feel stupid. Go in if you want to eat here NEVER EVER GET TAKE OUT!!! Owner is a jackass

I had never been to Thyme & Season before but drive by it everyday and wanted to see what it was all about. As soon as I walked into the place something didn’t smell right. The air was warm and moist and it smelled like a musty old broken refrigerator. That threw me off right from the start. I stood there looking around the place as 2 men in red t-shirts were, I guess, organizing something. The place is cluttered and I confusing. I couldn’t tell what they were all about. On top if it all they saw me walk in, ignored me as they continued working and I had to ask them if they were even open! There is nothing worse than being ignored and it is absolutely poor customer service. Once I was finally able to ask him, whoever HE was, if they make sandwiches he told me that they are gourmet restaurant and they don’t make sandwiches. What a load of crap. There is nothing gourmet about this place and I am glad I didn’t eat there because from the smell if things I probably would have been sick. I don’t recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever be going back.

RUDE, BELITTLED, EMBARRASS. We walked out because of how we where treated. I’m a custmer with money in my pocket to spend on food and we where treated vary pourly. His comment is he’s from New York and that’s how we do it. I have n’t walked out of any place before, This was a first for me. The place was dirty and I don’t know what was behind me whith his make shift wall. Outside was a older fryer or something like that with old oil on the side. I didn’t know if was comming or going but nune the less it didn’t help. There were boxes thrown out for the garbage or something next to the older fryer. This place would be a health inspectors night mare. Good reviews poor service. I’m 64 and wheelchair bond. We couldn’t get to the food because our treatment while we ordered. Some pricing on one board and none behind conter menu. We had to yell our order about 25′ infront of all his customers, About 12 total on a friday night about 6:30 PM. I didn’t care for the servive and cluttery. Usually with clutter comes filth. I personnely don’t like his New York styale but it is what it is. ENJOY YOUR FOOD.
