The Greenery is an Ogden staple that has been delivering quality food at a reasonable price for decades. On my recent visit I enjoyed the turkey pesto ciabatta sandwich. It was delicious. There strawberry pie was just as I remembered. Best of all is their eclectic gift shop with something to please everyone.

My family has been going to the greenery for awhile now, my grandma loved the place back when it was a pool and bowling ally… But that has since changed and there is a restaurant there. before I get into the negatives Let me just say I was always pleased with the wait staff. They seemed nice, friendly and down to earth. The food, has always been, not that great… I can cook a better meal with a pack of ramen noodles. The most disturbing thing I’ve noticed is whenever I’ve gone with my grandma in the day she’s pointed out the people who own the restaurant and One day i had the pleasure of hearing them yell at their mother, I found it tacky and plain uncalled for. Just my experiences.

Disappointing at best. I have given this place two different chances now and both times have been horribly let down. My last visit our food was so bad we sent it back and asked for the check (so we could go somewhere else) and they charged us for or sides!! SEPERATLY! Which came out to almost as much as our bill would have been… The gift shop can be fun and good location but the foods not much more than edible.

Greenery Restauraunt ‘ YUMMY’. I have enjoyed the wonderful Mormon Muffins for Years. The Entree’s have always been delicious. I seem to always take left overs home for the next day.. The Deserts are always made on site so it is always a hard decision to make a choice . I also look forward to the Birthday Club every Year. very nice to know I will be remembered by the Greenery.

Excellent Service Great Food!!. I Love the atmosphere of TheGreenery! Everytime I dine there I am greeted promptly by the friendliest staff they seem to genuinely care about their patrons! Most of the people are elderly or female so it is a perfect place to sit and chat with friends over hot fresh soup and the fresh salad bar> I have tried all of their homemade original deserts also and they are heavenly! I am told they make most of their food from scratch and it is never reused or reheated like some places. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere with the gorgeous view of the mountains and the service I have gotten there is always fast efficient and very friendly!! One of the oldest restaurants in Northern Utah The Greenery keeps people (me included) coming back consistently time and time again!

YUCK. The gift shop is great, i’ve been going there for 35 years and it has never failed to be fun. they have a bit of everything for everyone. i look forward to stopping there anytime i’m in ogden. the restaurant looks inviting and has a great atmosphere. i love the decor. but, the food is awful. pretty pricey for the quality of food. i have tried eating there several times over the years thinking that maybe next time will be better. but, i’ve tried it for the last time. the floors are filthy. i don’t think the corners have been swept, let alone mopped since they opened. the bathrooms filthy. the sandwiches were okay, but all of the fruits and veges tasted old. (yes, every time). the crab tastes really old and fishy. the fruits mediocre. you can get a much fresher and tastier salad at wendys! the fresh lemonaides and lime squeezes were good. they should either turn this place into a little cafe, maybe specializing in a couple of good food choices they can handle or buy a better, fresher quality food, instead of trying to fix a full menu. maybe get a new manager or chef. the waiter was very nice and friendly though!
