The first time I came here I fell in love with The Husband (yellow cake with chocolate frosting). I still love it, and I think their snickerdoodles are divine, but the last time I stopped in I was given a very small slice of cake. The cake wasn’t sliced yet, but I would hope there would be markings to approximate the size of a slice so someone isn’t getting skimped when it’s first cut into. When you’re charging $5.19 per slice, the size needs to be consistent. And of course I’m too much of a pushover to say anything in the moment, but hey it needed to be said.
