Gives Mexican food a bad name. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here. Several members of my family and I decided to try this place while strolling on Main Street this past Sunday. The fact that it was nearly empty during lunch time should have raised a flag. It was 6 of us in our group and none of us were happy with our food. We are not Mexican food snobs but the food really needs some serious improving. The tortillas on our dishes were cold and stiff, the rice was over seasoned, the sauces tasted artificial. The service was mediocre, they did not offer refills on our drinks, server gave me unsolicited opinion in a bossy manner about the food I was ordering for my kid, and the only time they went above and beyond their duties was to add the 20 percent gratuity. The food is overpriced and you leave this place feeling like you were ripped off. How they have managed to stay in business, is beyond my comprehension.
Not my first choice for dining on Park City Main. We had heard a lot of good things about Blue Iguana but were sorely disappointed by our dining experience. My wife got a tostada that was so ranch drenched and soggy that we had to return it. Without the ranch it was obvious the lettuce was rancid and the rest of the food reheated. The customer service was only fair and the food quality poor. With so many other options on Park City Main I wouldn’t make this your first choice!
This is NOT affiliated with the Red Iguana in SLC. Don’t ever go into business with your lawyer! Locals know the whole story, and stay away.
One-Time Visit. My husband and I eat out often, and this is one of the worst places in Park City. The service was mediocre at best, and the food was soggy and lukewarm. The funny thing is we quite enjoy the Salt Lake location, but we will not be going back to Blue Iguana in Park City.
WORST customer service. When I complained about poor customer service, General Manager named Chuck, took my and my girlfriend’s plates off the table mid-meal and asked us to leave. You’ve got to be kidding me!!! That guy isn’t fit to manage a porta-potty, which is what the place felt like.
Went here for breakfast with my family while on vacation. Extremely disappointed. Food was way over priced and not worth it at all. I got the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, there was one bite of sausage on each half of the sandwich. Food quality would of been better at mcdonalds or burgerking. DO NOT GO!
