Absolutely the best Italian I have had in quite some time. Salmon piccata was great, great simple dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, and great dessert (cannoli and chocolate lava cake). Good service. One thing to know- only open for dinner at 5pm, but don’t advertise that well. Worth waiting for. Service was good and personal. Nice ambiance.
Although billed as authentic Italian my chicken Marsala was a grilled chicken breast with skimpy mushrooms carrots?? And a sauce with absolutely no resemblance to Marsala sauce. The waiter push expensive wines on the list. Service was prompt and atmosphere was good. I still will go elsewhere next time.
Amazing! We loved everything we ate. The ravioli alla Nona and the gnocchi bolognese were delicious! So glad we stopped here!
We ordered two pizzas and two pesto gnocchis. The gnocchi wasn’t fresh, it was floury and completely lacking in flavour as for the sauce. Don’t get me started it was mostly cream with a hint of pesto, could probably have done better myself with some cream, parmasean and basil. Now the pizza, the chicken pizza barely had any chicken on it, the bases were unsatisfactory it was over priced and would prefer dominoes. I don’t like to be negative but we were very Disapointed with this meal and didn’t want this restraunt to ruin anyone else’s Christmas Eve. Please let me if anyone finds a quality Italian restraunt in Park City.
We love this place. Every time we come to Park City we come here
Yum… good quality Italian fair. Had the spice sausage raviolis and slow cook ribs over pasta… both great!we had 2 martinis, one glass of red wine , 2 entries, and 2 desserts for $98The staff and service was great.
Good food at a great price. After checking out most of the reviews for Park City restaurants I realized there really is no stand out place. So when we decided on Italian we went with Buona Vita because it was half the price as all the other moderately reviewed restaurants. And it was an excellent choice. The service was spot on and the ambience was very nice. Bummer that the table next to the fireplace was already taken. We started with the fried ravioli and the Caesar salad. I’d skip the Caesar, the dressing was too much of a vinaigrette for my taste. The fungi penne and gnocchi were both quite good and very filling. We left room for a delicious lava cake that was a nice end to our meal. Add in 2 glasses of wine and 2 mixed drinks and our total was only $100! A dinner that includes all that in a tourist town that is good food, service and ambience makes Buona Vita an excellent choice!
