Tourists beware! This is not a friendly place if you want a casual drink and you are visiting from out of town. We were denied entry because my wife’s drivers license was not accepted. Although considered valid at the airport to get through security, this bar requires a passport for entry if you are not AmericanAlthough it’s not unusual for bars in Utah to card everybody regardless of age, this is the first time we’ve experienced being denied entry because our government issued driver’s license from Canada was deemed invalid. I’m 41 years old and we were part of a group of 10 that were coming in for food and drink to watch the hockey game. We were probably the youngest in the group – but they decided it was better to be confrontational with me and allow the entire group to leave than allow my wife to enter.No other bar we visited on main street had this policy in place nor treated us with such disdain. We will not be going back to the place any time soon – even if we decide to carry around our passport.
We stumbled into the bar because it has the best US reviews and rightly so! What a cool little place. We didn’t realize you can go right upstairs for al fresco dining. Will do this next time. Hubby had No Name burger. I had Turkey burger. Both were fantastic. The UNITA beers were crisp and cold. It was kind of slow but I understand the place hops at times. Cool vibe and great waitstaff. The bouncer, Bruce, was a great guy to chat with in between his checking IDs. Glad we hit the bar in low season because you get to mingle with the locals before the tourists hit. Met another Bruce who groomed the slopes. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Life is short!
Too crowded. The chili fries were not cooked all the way. Annoyed
The BBQ bacon burger was amazing!! Kind of weary about eating chips and salsa with a burger, but was surprisingly good. Didn’t drink beer and the place was still fun.
Best Buffalo Bacon and Blue Cheese burger ever! Great Atmosphere. The buffalo chips are amazing.
Fish taco was nice and also the chips were the best we’ve tasted on our US trip! Burgers are nice too 🙂
Awesome place. Great to grab a beer with your hubby over happy hour. Happening place. Perfect for the guys, charming enough for the ladies.
