We celebrated our anniversary with an event at Prime. It came highly recommended from the locals and it was wonderful! The service was spot on and the food was perfect. We had many things on the menu from salads thru dessert and were pleased with every bit of it! The servings are plentiful and the steaks cooked to perfection! An absolute must if visiting Park City and you enjoy a great steak!
Best steak I’ve ever had! great service. loved everything about it. better than Ruth’s Chris.
Delicious!. Loved the petit fillet and the sides of creamed spinach and mac cheese. Expensive, but lovely. Disappointed that you couldn’t get an espresso coffee though!
They had our table ready and waiting. Amazing service. Food was what you expect. Nothing really above and beyond. Basically your normal high end steakhouse.
Overpriced, and service was sub-par. I went to this establishment with high hopes. There are several websites that have Prime Stake House listed as one of the best steak houses in the greater Utah area. Unfortunately, the establishment seemed to be unprepared for my reservation. They took some extra time about 10 minutes to seat me and my guest. It felt unnecessary since we had a reservation.I love a good steak, so I ordered the New York strip 16 ounces.I don’t want to waste all day explaining it, but nevertheless the price was large considering the few small morsels of food the staff managed to bring to our table. Some of it under cooked, some of it not all too bad.I’m a business man and I think a good deal on how I spend my money. Ultimately, I have to say the price is far too steep for the portions. The establishment is making a killing, and the public should be warned that unless money is of no object to you then you should never waste a dime at this establishment.I feel that either staff is not well paid, or they are really just as bad as they were. The staff seemed to take what I feel was a very long time to bring out the appetizers. The main meal also was a bit long. From the appearance of the amount of people in the establishment this felt much too long. A large group left right after we were seated. The staff also seemed to be over zealous to have me and my guest leave as soon as possible once we had consumed the majority of our meal. My guest and I were just trying to chat a little longer when the staff seemed to continue to approach us and ask if we were finished, which was extremely obnoxious! It was to the point that I for a small moment actually wanted to leave without paying, and I am the type of person who would never do something like that. The establishment unfortunately loses my support because of the staff’s insistent behavior for their guests to leave the instant they are finished. I clearly feel that a price of that magnitude vs. the portions of food should allow a guest a minimum of 1 1/2 hours to be overly reasonable. My guest and I had only been there perhaps 50 minutes and that was only due to the slow cooks. When a couple pays close to $200.00 for only two very small portioned meals they deserve to have all the sitting around time they damn well please.
Mixed emotions. Tough to judge this place as it was hit and miss. My steak (a filet) was really good but not fantastic, while my wife’s steak was one of the best I’ve ever had (also a filet). Our side dishes (green beans and garlic mashed potatoes) were both very good. But the appetizers were lacking. The Scallops Chester was way too cheesy and wasn’t cooked well and the Lobster Bisque (at $13 a cup, not bowl) was good but not great. Loved the bread. Overall, I guess I just expected a bit more for my money, espeically considering the price.
Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious, mouthwatering food! Perfect side dishes! I will eat here every time I come to Park City from now on. The two for one menu during the summer is the BEST deal on town!!!!!!
