Awesome Experience, worth every penny!. One of the coolest and best tasting places we have ever been to. The best part was the service. The gentlemen walked us through every step, and his broken English made us smile the whole time. He was very accommodating when he found out our friend was allergic to peanuts and there was only one or two things he couldn’t have. The price was actually 14.95 each, there is no menu but again the host was amazing. It was definitely a one man show, though his daughter goes to byu. Would recommend this to anyone!
Excellent food and service but not your typical Asian meal. If you’re not used to hot pot meals this can be a bit daunting. But the owners were extremely helpful and not in the least condescending to us (we were clueless walking in). The broth was perfect and each of the ingredients to add to the pot were top notch. We particularly enjoyed the fish, shrimp, and beef balls. We could cater to our individual palates and enjoy. A unique and superb experience.
Good but…… Good food. Fun experience. But Waaaay over priced for the dinner. If it was $10 per person we would be tempted to eat her more often.
Very Good Food. Friends brought us here, and I hadn’t been to a Hot Pot place like this. All I can say is I’m a big fan. For $13 you get an all-you-can-eat hot pot. We had the spicy broth, and it was really good. The Dumpings were by far my favorite thing. Definitely would recommend trying it out. 🙂
Love that place 13 bucks all you can eat hotpot
Over Priced. Compared to a real hot pot, this place isn’t so great. It costs about twice as much as hot pot should ($14!) And is really low on meat and variety of items to put in the pot. Although it is all you can eat, you can only eat so much of the same thing. Save your money and just go to the asian market down the street, buy the stuff you like, and have hot pot at home.
Good dumplings. Not a fan of hot pot; haven’t tried it here, and probably won’t. But, I luuuuurrve Chinese dumplings and have eaten thousands of ’em from NYC to LA, SF, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan and beyond. I was a leeeetle skeptical that a dumpling shop in Provo would:a) existb) survivec) be any goodFour Seasons does a pretty darn decent dumpling. They do Northern Chinese dumplings. These aren’t like the thin, translucent Cantonese shrimp dumplings you get at dim sum, but are very rustic and hefty and hearty and porky; thick skins with solid pig flavor. The pork and chive and pork and cabbage were quite good…I also liked the pork and jalapeno, but didn’t care for the bland chicken. The seafood dumplings are a bit weak; seafood just isn’t a Northern thang, pork is.They are a bit inconsistent, I’ve noticed. The garlicky dipping sauce that comes with the dumplings is great, but very potent. You’ll keep loved ones at bay for 24 hours. They also do xiaolongbao (I got the pure pork XLB), which admittedly aren’t as good as the best places in LA (much less Shanghai), but they’re 90% there, which for an Asian restaurant in Utah is like winning a real gold medal in the special olympics. They also have pork bao and egg-and-chive bao (steamed bread buns stuffed with fillings). I tried the latter, which was surprisingly good. However, the real star was the Signature shredded veggie salad. It was a cold salad made from shredded cabbage, green beans, carrots, etc. and bean-thread noodles, with a sesame-soy dressing. Superb, and perfect on a hot, summer day.Service can be a bit slow. Sometimes they request that you call in advance if you want dumplings, because they make them to order, so it does take a while.
