Great variety of food choices from tacos to sweet potato fries (which are delish.) Guru’s is fast and hassle free. Great twist on foods that everyone will enjoy.

Nice variety, flavorful combinations. A welcome diversion from the highly-refined fare elsewhere in town. Curry bowl (ordered spicy) and pesto turkey sandwich were great.

PAY ATTENTION!!!!. Dear Guru owners: I have now tried your caf 3 times. I am done. I keep hoping/wanting it to be good/fun/better and it isn’t. I ate there again last night. What a joke. You have a good location, you have a nice size, you have decent food – could be prepared much more appealing…but that could just be the cook staff getting a little more training…but your service is horrible. You were packed when you opened and you keep it alive now probably because you are patronized by people just like your wait staff. The sign at the cash register asked me to tip…why???? I tip for service. Not for girls that I have to drag to help me, managers who carry money open handed in LARGE bundles to the cash register and then touch food (I watched), tables that don’t get wiped down AT ALL, empty napkin/silverware holders at the table, unfilled drinks and loud music coming from the kitchen. I feel you have a great possibility on your hands, but you need to MANAGE your caf. Or train your people. Or maybe, you just don’t care. My husband runs a large eatery (seats 256 people) and I know what customer service is. And I get when you are shorthanded/busy and are trying….please……….your staff doesn’t care at all. They can, however – stand around and talk with boys, flip off each other, drink behind the counter (people see…including the health department), look at their phone…. I guess this must be an investment you really don’t care about. Must be nice to have that kind of money to lose.

Half Size Salmon Rice Bowl. Yummy and lightly spicy.

Pleasantly surprised. Prices were a bit high when we looked at the menu ($10 for a Chicken Lime Quesadilla), but when we got our food we understood why. Very flavorful and filling, they really go the extra mile to make a standard dish outstanding! The kids menu was very decently priced, and our daughter was happy as well. It’s nice that it’s attached to the bakery, so you can order delectable treats with your meal. 🙂

Good food, fun atmosphere. Only drawback is they don’t wipe the tables down between users. You’ll be eating on top of someone else’s crumbs.

My husband and I went for breakfast this morning and waited 25 minutes for oatmeal, one pancake, and an omelette. We watched a table of four that came in 10 minutes after us get their food. My pancake was cold and the oatmeal was bland. This happened six months ago with lunch one day too, waited for 30 min for a salad. Lame.
