We thought the salsa tasted like Pace salsa from the plastic container. The chips were bland and thin. My wife ordered her steak medium, and half of it came very rare. I ordered my steak medium well and it came very cooked and tough. Very poor execution of things that should be simple enough for a chef to do well on.The portion sizes were huge, but the food wasnt even good for us to want to box it, which is a first for us. Im sorry, Joe Veras, but we will not be visiting you again. If you are looking for a good Mexican-American restaurant that is local, I would recommend going to Maria Bonitas in Orem.

I love Joe Vera’s. From the food to the people. I’ve never had a problem they wouldn’t fix or a big problem at all. I have had many of their dishes and everything I’ve tried I’ve liked. It’s in a good location but parking can be hard. I suggest this place to family and friends all the time.
Great food, great service. Good reasonably priced food with great service. I come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. I highly recommend.
Very bland. Need to offer salsa and options for those who like more authentic Mexican (geared toward gringo taste buds)

Mobile Review. Go for the chips and salsa. Stay for the fried cheesecake.
