The Molcajete is Awesome. My wife and I shared the Molcajete (only available on the weekend menu) and we loved it. We have had Molcajetes at numerous other places and this was our favorite ever. The steak was perfect. The shrimp and chicken were tasty. The best surprise was the spicy sausage gravel in the bottom of the stone. WOW! It is fabulous! Tons of food and tasty, tasty, tasty. The peppers and onions were perfect. We also had the shrimp empanadas. They were crispy and the cheese inside was perfect. The shrimp was awesome. We will be back regularly.

I love this place! the one thing to try is their Green Chile! they have their burritos smothered in it. as well as green chile dinner plates! their service was amazing and their food was delicious! they are new to their new location in university parkway and i was impressed! best Mexican food!
Great Traditional Mexican. If you’re looking for great traditional mexican food, Los Tres might work for you. I had a smothered burrito that was excellent. The salsa and guac is excellent.
Bad Excuse for Mexican Food. This food is about as far from true Mexican food as it comes. It is bland and tastes as if nothing was made by hand but rather store bought and thrown together without any seasonings. The only thing that was bearable to eat was the salsa not the chips though, because they were just store bought too. Having eaten Mexican food daily in Southern Arizona for 20 years and made many trips to Mexico I am well aware of what the food should taste like. If I were blind folded while eating I probably wouldn’t have been able to guess this was Mexican food, it was that bad. In fact, we were so dissatisfied with the food that we couldn’t eat much of the entree and refused to pay for it because it was so bad (this is the first time I have ever had to do that). The only possible way that someone else could have given this a positive review is if it was under different management when they ate there. Save your money, your taste buds, a stomach ache and go somewhere else. (2/12/2010)
Not bad, but not great. They have really good guacamole.
