Awesome Smash Cake. We commissioned Provo Bakery to make a smash cake for a 1 year old. They did a beautiful job with limited instructions. We only told them the colors we’d like used and what we wanted written on the cake. The few unsmashed bites we stole were delicious!
Grease Fritter. Provo Bakery was a favorite growing up, it was a real treat to have a pastry from there with my family. I now live 25 miles from Provo Bakery and was in town on Saturday morning April 14, 2012 to pick-up my granddaughter. I stopped by the Bakery to pick-up a surprize for my family back home. I’m the one that got the surprize! The Fritter’s I bought were full of GREASE. I counld not believe the amount of GREASE that came off the napkin, and if you pinched the Fritter the Grease Dripped. If I lived closer, I would of taken them back and showed them what they had sold as apple and raspberry Fritters was a mouth full of GREASE! I called to talk to the Manager or the Baker and was told they had left for the day and to call back on Tuesday Morning before 9am. What a waste of money and time. Provo Bakery better make some changes or they won’t be in business much longer. Maybe people like a GREASE Dripping Fritter (maple bar), but this family does not. We will go the extra miles next time and go to Lehi Bakery, for a Great Fritter, Maple Bar or any type of pastry that will be lite and full of flavor, time after time, without the GREASE. This is the third time we have tried Provo Bakery, and once again we were very disappointed. I won’t waste my money on bringing home GREASE anymore.
Bran muffins are healthy?… ..probably not here! These stand outs are absolutely delicious. Their bran muffins are dipped in a honey sugar glaze that is soaked in. Wow. Best. Ever.
Love it!. Best Bakery in the area. My mom used to take me there all of the time. Still remember the smell. It’s been a while, but the make great cakes.
So-So. Fair prices, convenient location, and top-notch baklava. But I’ve gotten better donuts at Day’s Market, and although they have a lot of original confections, none of them really manage to wow me. I like it when I get a baked good and that’s a highlight, but with these it feels more like I have to force my way through them.
Best donuts in Utah!
