Must go!. Rocky Mountain Drive-in is a hole in the wall and as such you shouldnt really expect top of the line service like some of these reviewers are complaining about. I’m sure half the employees are high school kids so give them a break! Whenever I’m in town I love to get some of their scones! You really cant find them anywhere else..especially not in Salt Lake City. Delicious scones, good fries and good burgers and the prices are better than most chain restauraunts. I would choose Rocky MDI over Mcdonalds any day of the week. Definitely a favorite and has that nostalgia that you just cant find anymore.
Shakes are great!. My family went here for shakes on family night. The shakes were thick and large and the customer service was AMAZING. I didn’t notice they accidently charge me too much, but the man at the counter noticed and was honest enough to refund me the difference. He also gave my three-year-old son some fruit snacks while we waited for our shakes to be made.What a great family place.
One of the worse places I have ever had a shake from. Waited almost 20 minutes in the drive thru. By time we got our shakes they were melting all down the cup. They had absolutely no flavor! It tasted like vanilla ice cream. Then the guy couldn’t figure out a dollar in change. Never again will I go there got ice cream or good service.
Rocky Moutain. I Love Rocky Mountain. It’s by far one of my favorite places to go. I love the old fashion feel to it and I love the food. Mostly the milk shakes. On Monday and Wednesday they even do a 2 for 1 deal on the milk shakes so I take my nephews often. We Love it! Thanks so much for your wonderful food and service.
Not worth the money. I just got back from eating at Rocky Monutain Drive-in, and I’m disappointed to say the least. I asked a friend if he knew of any good cheap burger joints, and he had heard of Rocky Mountain and directed me there. I ordered the double swiss bacon burger, and while good, it is much to small for the outrageous seven dollar priced combo, which only came with a small (though good) fry and a ridiculously small drink. The burger wasn’t too bad, just that it was pretty dry, and once again, much too small for the price. Also, it may have just been the day, but even though I was only one of three customers in the restaurant it took 10 minutes to have my order ready.
THIS SCREAMS HOME TO ME. After joining the military and moving away 20 years ago> The Rocky Mountain Drive Inn`s Scones have always ment home to me !! I have traveled the world and NEVER found anything even close to the yum factor as there !! Wish you all mailed your scones out !!!!
