I stayed at the hotel connected to this resturant for an entire week. I ate at this resturant every day for five days and loved all of it. The coconut shrimp appetizer is great and I ate it three times. I didn’t like the dip that came with it but you can request cocktail sauce. The salads are awesome but the Cesar salad does have a bit too much dressing. The environment is awesome and if your staying at the hotel you can call the resturant and they will deliver!
Prime Rib With Ali K. As good as our meal was, the service here was even better. Our server (Ali K) was enthusiastic, helpful with our first timer questions, and as attentive as any server we have ever had. The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and properly prepared…a great entre. My wife had the pork tenderloin with a flavorful orange-cranberry relish served over a bed of garlic potatoes…another great entre. We will be sure to stop here again on our next trip through Provo.NOTE TO MANAGER: As a past employer, one of the greatest assets I had were those rare employees who proudly and positively represent your business to the public. Ali K is one of those assets. Give her a raise and keep her on board as long as possible……..2/14/16 – Second stop…succulent bacon wrapped pepper sirloin steak with parmesan tomatoes. Perfectly cooked to order. The owner has his own brewery, and I tried the highly recommended IPA, one of the best I’ve ever had. Again, a very good meal accompanied by great service.
Great Prime Rib!
Rugby River. My party of 12 went out to rugby river for New Year’s Eve I had the 12 oz New York steatite measure rare it was medium at best my waitress never asked me how it was and like a dumbly I did not complain. I figured a steak house would know how to cook a steak. It was ver disappointing to say the least.
Ribeye is amazing!. My husband and I go here for nice date nights, the steak is always great every-time. He likes the salmon which is wood-grilled and I enjoy the ribeye steak. The staff is always really nice and helpful and the atmosphere is nice, I really like that it is all booths it makes it more private. I would recommend this place highly, also the sourdough bread they give is amazing I eat 2-3 loaves every-time I go.
Worth the trip!. We travel thru Salt Lake City twice a year and always time it so we can dine at Ruby River Steak House. We discovered this place in 1999, have gone to the locations in Provo, St. George, and Reno and find them all wonderful. The meat is tender and always done just the way we like it. Their cinnamon jacket Yam is to die for. They call it a vegetable I call it heaven! The salads are fresh, crisp and nicely plated, and the freshly baked bread is a treat as well. We have always had first class service, the staff is most eager to please. If you are in the area, don’t miss this place for a wonderful treat. Only downside for us, getting past the too much cowboy theme, the music is a bit loud, but ask the hostess to choose your seat and you will be so wrapped up in a delicious meal you won’t even notice!
Great steaks!. We love to go there for steaks! And, they have an awesome salad bar. This is a nice place to take friends; it has a very nice atmosphere!
