I get this delivered whenever I can. Healthier and more authentic than a lot of American Chinese food. Tons of flavor in everything, and their delivery is very fast. I highly recommend the lemon chicken, wontons, and the lo mein. Literally everything they have is delicious.
Bleh. It wasn’t horrible, just not that good. Ham fried rice had no flavor, Beijing beef tasted ok but there was TONS of sauce and veggies, more than there was meat. Orange chicken was decent. Kinda seemed like something just stuck in the microwave. Egg drop soup was very…eggy? Just seemed excessive, almost like I was drinking a dozen half-cooked eggs. Egg rolls were disappointing. They were fast, so there’s a plus. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time I want Chinese though.
Gone downhill. I was a regular here back in the late 90s when the Hong(?) family opened this place. Mom was in back cooking, and the daughters were in front serving. The shaking beef and the hot and sour soup were phenomenal. the hot-and-sour soup was Chinese in form, but Vietnamese-Chaozhou in flavor. Just truly excellent. The pho, bun and the Chinese dishes were also very good. We brought dozens of friends and family and it always became a favorite of theirs, too.The family sold the restaurant back around 2000 since the family had earned enough money to pay for the kids’ college. The Chinese couple who bought it kept the dishes close to the same, but some five spice started creeping onto the flavors, and pretty soon, whatever magic Mom had worked in the kitchen had disappeared for good. Not sure who owns it now, but we went back a few years ago when visiting Provo (after a long stint out of state), and it was truly dreadful. Just awful.Oh well, there are good Vietnamese restaurants up in Salt Lake.
Great food, terrible service!. The food was really good and reasonably priced, but the service was terrible!
Inexpensive food, tasted okay. Went on a Tuesday night and there were two other tables with diners. The service was great, the atmosphere pleasant, the food was not the best Chinese food I’ve had. I didn’t think the food was too bad but my wife thought it tasted of chemicals and felt a little sick partway through the meal. We ended up leaving to grab some other food. The plates were $5 or $6 or so and we both liked the egg drop soup.
Love it!. I have passed by there a million times, and finally decided to stop in. I have since stopped in there every Tuesday since, and pick up meals for my co-workers. For lunch I have NEVER had an issue with service, and their food is spectacular. I would, and do, recommend this place to my friends.
So so food – terrible service. To only have one person waiting and serving on a Friday night just didn’t work. It must be a family of three running this place. The food was of the typical, nothing special, greasy spoon Chinese food. I asked everyone at our table if theyd be returning…dead silence wasvthe answer.
