Best Korean Food in Utah. Beef Bulgogi is the best. I refuse to order anything different, because this is just so darn good. For those of you who don’t know:EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH!!! That’s why the wait time is a bit longer. But who doesn’t want to talk to your family or friends during that time?
Went twice, will go again!. My brother took me to this restaurant and I loved it so much that I couldn’t wait to take my husband and daughter. We all loved it. I ordered the same things. Beef Bulgogi, Jop Chae, and a dish that I don’t remember the name of…kind of a thinly sliced pork chop. The flavors were unique and delicious. Went with my daughter and husband on a Friday night. The place was packed and it was a long wait. When I went with my brother, we went at lunch time. Much less waiting time. I’d recommend this place to anyone. The flavors were very unique, but not too unusual.
Much better than Fusion. I have not often eaten Korean food and only have a medium tolerance for spiciness. I am not a kimchi fan. That said, I loved the dinner I had the other night at Sam Hawk. My extended family members, who have more experience in eating Korean, a greater love for things spicy, and a love of kimchi (!) liked it too. My favorites were the Beef Bulgogi and the Spicy Pork (which was nice and spicy without being overpowering–zingy without overwhelming the flavor of the meat). The other Korean place I have eaten in Provo is Fusion. Sam Hawk has better service, better food, and more generous portions of meat. You can take someone not accustomed to Korean food to Sam Hawk without worrying that their tongue will burn off. I recommend it.
Best Korean in Utah?. I really, really enjoyed my meal here. This place is right up there with Myung-Ga in Salt Lake, and considering how inexpensive it is, it probably surpasses it. I absolutely loved the Beef Bulgogi, while the Spicy Pork Bulgogi was very good too. The one dish that surpised me was the Chicken Kalbi – cooked perfectly and incredibily flavorful. I’d definitely recommend that dish. The sides were just as you’d expect at a Korean restaurant, and all-you-can-eat to boot. I already can’t wait to go back.
CRAZY GOOD. I LOVE this place. My friend from Indonesia came to visit me and we decided to go to this restaurant because she is a know-all of everything Korean (culture, music, media, food). She was really impressed with this place and said it tasted practically like it does in Korea. She loved the food, A LOT! We got the beef bulgogi and fusion chicken and bibimbap. All were amazing!!! I am going there again tonight and I am super excited!
This is the most ADDICTIVE place I have ever been to!!!!!!!!! Go there before you do anything else!!!. If you can do one thing before you die, visit this place!Amazing service and unforgettable food!!!It is truly mind-blowing to find a Korean restaurant that makes its own Kimchee! As a huge fan of Korean culture due to my business, I know what is good and what is not good and I tell you this is the most authentic Korean food you will find anywhere.Come on, free side dish refills!!!Just go there, check it out!
The best authentic Korean I’ve had in a long time…reasonably priced, good portions, intimate atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back.
