Candied sage leaves. That was new. The pulled pork plate came with a wonderful serving of veggies and cornbread and mashed potatoes. The chicken and waffles were completely unexpectedly flavorful too. In a nutshell, imagine comfort food a Utah flare. Though I think of comfort food to be only homey, filling, and satisfying the food here was more than that– it had so much aroma and seasoning that it became a richer experience. I recommend the poutine too– it was my first time having it so I have no idea what else to base it off of. It was good still. Though I didn’t like the deep-fried cookie dough. It sounded like a good idea but it just turned out really bland.

My favorite dish is their whisky chicken, has a savory/sweet flavor that seems to be just right. If you can have the carrots, do. The fries covered in gravy are a great appetizer. I have also enjoyed their burgers and the grown up mac and cheese. This place is one of my favorites in Downtown Provo!
