Bento food truck is amazing. The chicken rice bowl is so good. I also love the combo meals as they come with yummy pot stickers and wasabi potato salad.
The spicy miso ramen soup is quite good. Great flavor with a kick, complete with an almost-cooked hard boiled egg bobbing around in the bowl. I wasn’t a huge fan of the teriyaki chicken bowl or bento box. While the quantity of chicken was good, the flavor was quite bland (seemed more like a mild pulled/shredded chicken in juice than a teriyaki chicken in sauce). Would also prefer steamed – not fried – potstickers.
Only been there once but it was very good. Food was fresh, so it took a little time to get it but not too long. The couple that runs it are very friendly. Any criticism I might give is that I don’t like the sweet sauce they put on the karaage, although those who aren’t as much of a stickler as I am about Japanese food might like it more than me. I’d go there more often if they came downtown for lunch.
