Good food, service was shamefully slow. The waiter would disappear and then return and tell us how busy they were when more than 80% of the tables were empty. The service was literally shameful, it took over an hour to get our food.
Ordered takeout, arrived to pick up and couldn’t waited on to get our food. They texted me an hour later asking if I was coming in.Too many options downtown for this service.
Yummy Americanized Italian food! The food was good, we had calamari which was amazing and stuffed shells. We left full and had leftovers. The only complaint is that the dining room was very warm which was uncomfortable while eating. Other than that it was great and service was adequate.
Bleh. . .. Our meal was fairly expensive and exceedingly boring. I had the chicken piccata which wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. My husband had penne with meat sauce–there was minimal sauce and the pasta was sticky and rubbery. Service was friendly but mediocre. We’ve noticed a decline, but the location is so great. Never again, though. There are too many other great places to suffer
Mixed feelings here. Pasta dishes are bland. Appetizers are good. You come to this place for the family style dining experience, plus all the conversation pieces around you. I really want to like the place but not all the food is great. I guess that’s expected from a chain restaurant.
Tasty. I went there for lunch. We were seated quickly. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt. I loved the bread with vinegar and olive oil. Reasonably priced for lunch. Great atmosphere. The red sauce I had on my pasta was a little bland but the meatball my dad had was quite tasty (btw it was a 1/2 lb. meatball). I would go there again. In fact, I plan to take my wife there for dinner. 🙂
This is a great place to sit around a table of good food and laugh and share memories. We sat at the kitchen table. A lot of fun talking to the chef and all the help. We all had so much fun when they would show us everything else that people ordered. The chef was VERY nice. Great food
