If you want authentic Chinese this is the place for you. They do tend do get very busy so if you want good service don’t go when it’s full, it’s that simple.

Great food, WORSE SERVICE!!!. Keep in mind** If you are ordering a lunch special and you don’t pay w/cash than its dinner price expect to pay about $10 a plate BUT you do get plenty food. They are RUDE and seems like they just want your money! The only thing keeping me from not going is the orange chicken and how close it is to my work.

I agree. The counter person is the worst I have ever seen. Have taken food out two times and both times she was awful. Food is good. Please hire someone else. She is soooo rude.

Best of downtown Chinese Food. My favorite Chinese restaurant in SLC and they have only been open a few months. The lunch and dinner menu are superb, the sesame chicken is made with real honey, they offer a number of excellent lamb dishes which I have not seen at other Chinese restaurants. I am also a fan of their pork and eggplant dishes. Most entrees run about $12 and they have excellent service.I believe Chef Gao sources many of their products locally and I noticed that they sell or donate their grease for making bio fuel.

Promising but not there yet. Food here was quite good and offered some choices out of the ordinary. Would have taken a takeout menu as a reminder of what we had to report it here, but, as of about 10 days ago none were to be had. Service was quite shaky. We were given food platters but no plates or tableware. Finally had to get it ourselves from servers stand and noticed another couple also doing that. This is the former Asian Isle location..a reliable Chinese restaurant should be a hit in the East Central neighborhood, I hope these folks can strengthen their game.

NEW OWNERSHIP – STAY AWAY. Suck. I used to live 1/2 a block from this place, and eat there all the time. The schezuan chicken was one of my favorites, and just tonight i was told they did’t have that menu item anymore. The brown rice i loved is no longer available and the quality of the chicken has gone from an 8 to a 2!! I’m utterly disappointed.
