Great Food!. I had the privilege of eating at Salt City Dogs today and was very glad I did. The service was good and the girl at the cart was very nice. I ordered the Salt City Dog and a side of potato salad. The veggie dog was very good, the flavours were very well balanced with a hint of salty spice and reminded me a little bit of a Chicago dog but is this dog was much better in my opinion . The potato salad was made with thick cut potatoes and at first bite it taste a lot like a really good potato salad and in the background I notice a hint of spice, which I thought was a nice twist. I am really looking forward to going back and trying the Beer Brat Dog in which I herd was really good!
Eating with my eyes closed. Okay so the food here is actually very good–taste wise. Now, if I could just get over the look of the dogs that would be helpful. They are an unnatural shade of orangish and the texture is a bit off too. However, I would highly recommend this dog cart for vegetarian/vegan diners who want a dog like the rest of us carnivores (and I’d stop by again too if I was nearby).
