Ordered the Special Lunch No 3 which had the Mexican Rice Served with Fried Beans and was something that actually happeneed to quench my hunger for that moment.
Awesome, authentic, Mexican dive food. Went with my girlfriend and 3 pals. We all loved it! I like their mole better than Red Iguana. Gorditas were great too. Staff was super friendly.
Yummy Sopes and Al Pastor. I stopped in for a quick bite and ordered a sopes con lengua (tongue) and two tacos al pastor. The lengue was flavorful and tender and the sope’s thick tortilla was soft on the inside, while slightly crispy on the outside. The al pastor was smokey and sweet with just the right amount of salt. Tasted like a hybrid between mole and traditional al pastor. Walked out of there paying a little more than 5 bucks. Salsa is spot on as well. They have a full menu which includes manudo, pazole, meriscos and most traditional Mexican restaurant fare.
