The slowest fast food in the food court. Waited quite some time to give them my order as the girl at the cash register was having problems and there wasn’t enough staff there to step in and help. Finally ordered then waited twenty minutes to find that me and a few other guests had the same order number which was causing lots of problems. Finally got my food (well after the rest of my party was finished with their meals from other eateries) to eat very subpar food. I did like the soft pita, but the salad was underdressed and I’ve never had such dry and flavorless falafel. It was definitely not worth the wait. Went to get a refill on my drink after seeing other guests get refills and was told I had to pay for another drink if I wanted a refill. But other guests didn’t have to pay? Will never be going back as the food, service, and extremely long wait are not at all worth it. Not to mention you can get much better food elsewhere for the price!
Local. Another solid candidate in the row of what I believe to be local eateries on the south side of the main City Creek Center food court. Food seems made or least assembled to order and, probably for this reason, occasionally is slower than mega-chains. Have had experience of being told they were out of something which is reassuring in a way. But food is tasty and cheerfully provided — falafel and spinach/phyllo pie particularly recommended. Points off for making you buy a bottle of water–seems to be a trend in this food court. I realize everything has a cost to the vendor but I’d much rather pay 25 cents for a glass and tap water.
I had the chicken. It was the number 1 the single. They were offering samples of it and I tried the full and loved it, I did not like how the y charged for water not make it free! But great food great atmosphere.
Good Gyro. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Gyro with fries and a drink. I like that they use the traditional white sauce on their Gyro. The pita bread was warm and soft and I thought it tasted great. The only downside to my Gyro was that the meat was little bit dry and the onions were sauted. I prefer my onions raw. The fries were delicious. They fry them with some herbs (I believe it was basil) which was different but I liked it. I plan on stopping by and trying some of their other dishes.
