Keep going….. I should’ve known this was not hoping to be a good experience. I went into the beautifully decorated cafe at the Red Lion hotel at 12:30pm on a Tuesday thinking I would have to fight for a seat and I was the ONLY one there. *crickets* I decided to stay and give it a shot but I should’ve known if it’s empty at lunch time there’s a problem….and it was. I ordered fish and chips. I received 3 large burned lumps of what was supposed to be cod and a half of plate of old fries that had been warmed up. The tartar sauce had yellow globs of something that let me know that it had not been properly refrigerated and was going to be toxic to my digestive system. I was offered another meal choice after the manager saw the horror and disgust on my face. I politely declined but was given a discount and a free dessert. Pass this one by folks!
