Pad Sei Eiw. Really delicious, has a beef taste and is fresh and hearty.17 Jun, 2014One of my favorite Chinese and Thai places to go. There lemon chicken and pad Thai are great. If your in town stop by this place.
Such a strange place: great food such terrible customer service- nice staff, terrible serving system (what system?!!) management. They’re often out of ribs 1/2 if the time ). They’re understaffed and we ate in the dark tonight (no light bulbs or a short?) . Last time we were there both bathrooms were out if order…find on management ..step it up!
So Far :(. I’m so sad that Five Star had to move from their convenient downtown location all the way out to Roy! I never have time to drive that far for dinner and as a result I never get to indulge in their amazing homemade beef jerky. This stuff is nothing like typical packaged beef jerky. Beef sliced to about the size of a fresh cut fry and cooked to a consistency that is semi-tough but always chewy then marinated in a salty-sweet sauce that sort of resembles the flavors in Korean bulgogi. It is truly incredible and one of the only places where I will actually order and enjoy eating beef. I’m also missing their panang curry, which is a little more spicy and perfumed than normal panangs and is absolute pure heaven. One day..one day I’ll dedicate a night to trek out there and make sure I order extra beef jerky to take home.
My first queston at any Thai place is do you serve Singha. Here they do. Had the pad Thai with shrimp. Delicious. We’ll come back for sure.
Best things on menu is panang chicken, pad Thai pork, and pad pik gateum beef. Spring rolls with peanut & salt lake sauce also very good.
