I had heard that this place had great doughnuts, so I decided to try them. Frankly I have to disagree! The doughnut itself was heavy and dense – not what you’d expect from a glazed doughnut. I would guess their reputation is based on the toppings. They do have unique and flavorful icings, but the thick layer made the confectioners sugar frosting much too sweet (at least for me). The frosting would be better thinned a bit and more of a glaze. There are better places to go for doughnuts. I won’t be going back.
