I’ve only had the iced coffee and the Nitro here and it’s been some of the best I’ve ever had. I usually use 2 sugars in my coffee, but the coffee here is delicious and doesn’t need much at all. Great service and a nice place to stop when the weather is hot. It’s in a residential area so it’s a bit of a walk even living in the area.

Honestly the BEST coffee in SLC. The coffee is as fresh as it gets, roasting their own beans all day long. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable (if you have a craving for a certain coffee they cab point you in the right direction). The downside (and I believe they did this on purpose) is the hours and the small space. This isn’t a place to hang out for hours on end (only two tables and a few chairs), and the hours of operation are from 8 to 5:30. The odd thing is that it’s called Jack Mormon but they aren’t open on Sundays! I asked them an it’s because it’s a family company and they want time to do stuff too, can’t fault them for that…ease try Jack Mormon, you won’t regret it.
Kinda a weird place ….. Guess I have no beefs with the coffee. Jack Mormon is one of those foo-foo places that makes it one cup at a time. Coffee, though a little expensive, is good. The atmosphere as a place to hang out is marginal at best. They have just a few seats that are not particularly comfortable. Worst of all they do not have a public bathroom. When I was there they were unwilling to let me (a paying customer) use the the employee bathroom. Really I guess this is coffee kiosk that happens to be in a building.
Best Coffee Ever. Yeah, that’s a bold statement, but truly this is the best-tasting coffee I’ve ever had. Rich, complex, not bitter… I love that the beans are roasted and ground just before brewing. I respect that the owners clearly love what they do. Starbucks might as well be purveying Taster’s Choice. Don’t get bent out of shape because of the name – SLC, you’re lucky to have such a gem in your city.
