I really like everything about this place. Food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good, and it just has a special charm 🙂 I am not a fan of pork, but their pork ribs are something special. They have an exquisite, almost sweet flavor, and the BBQ sauce compliments it greatly. My favorite item by far is the chicken wings though, they are cooked to perfection. I definitely suggest it.
I purchased a deal through Living Social and got nervous about going after reading negative reviews. We went on a Saturday night so wait was about 30 minutes. We ordered the wings (they’ve won wing fest the last 2yrs), and the 1/3 rack ribs with 1/4 chicken. Our server, Alex, gave us great recommendations. We were not disappointed! The wings were amazing, ribs were the best I’ve had, and the chicken was so moist. I’m a huge fan of cornbread, it was awesome unlike a former reviews complaining it was dry. I’m not sure if they’ve upped their game or what, but we’ll definitely return!
