Food ok, but pricing is a little steep. Full Disclosure: I am related to the food industry. It was therefore with no small degree of chagrin that I discovered that the still are not severing Eggs or Strawberries. Two signature items! The weak excuse: cannot get the from supplier. HORSEFEATHERS! Eggs have been back to regular availability since September! Strawberries since mid October. They just would rather cheat their customers rather than pay about a 15% increase in pricing on these two small ingredients. SHAME ON YOU ZUPAS FRANCHISEE! Dined there on 11/28/2015. .
If you’re craving soup saltier than the lake which gives this valley its name, then go no farther than Cafe Zupas. The last two occasions the soup was inedible due to saltiness. Their sandwiches and salads aren’t a lot better. The chicken from my salad was clearly bought pre-cooked and is tough and dry. The last sandwich I ordered was wrong (box marked for a Cuban but I got a veggie). Won’t be coming back – bad even for fast food.
Ok food, but overpriced.. They have pretty good sandwiches, salads, and soups, but you could make far better stuff at home, and for a lot less money. Their portions are also very small for the price. You are looking at about $10 for a small square sandwich, and little bowl of soup. Almost $15 if you want one of their desserts that they buy pre-frozen and just thaw. The staff is the only redeeming quality here, they treat you well, but I know people who have worked there, and they tell me the managers treat them awfully. Only eat here if you have plenty of money to blow on mediocre food.
